POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Door Control Switch

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives switch signals from the door control switch assembly on the front passenger door and activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

  • When using the GTS with the engine switch off, connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins. Then select the vehicle type under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access. While using the GTS, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the GTS and the vehicle.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch On (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the I3*1 or I43*2 door control switch assembly connector.

      *1: for LHD

      *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the 2J instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
