  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    The illustration shows the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor for the LH corner and back sensor LH. The horizontal orientation of the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor for the RH corner and back sensor RH are opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips


    • When removing the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer, heat the rear bumper cover and No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.

    • The illustration shows the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer for the LH corner and back sensor retainer LH. The horizontal orientation of the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer for the RH corner and back sensor retainer are opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

    Note

    Do not heat the rear bumper cover or No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer excessively.
