LEXUS PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM Clearance Sonar Main Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly turns on, the ON signal is input into the clearance warning ECU assembly.

    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the main switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) Click here.

  2. INSPECT MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY (CLEARANCE SONAR MAIN SWITCH)


    1. Remove the main switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) Click here.

    2. Inspect the main switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY [CLEARANCE SONAR MAIN SWITCH] - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY AND BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the E97 main switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) connector.

    2. Disconnect the F92 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      E97-9 (CLSW) - F92-5 (ECU) Always Below 1 Ω
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
