DESCRIPTION

The No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (front center sensor LH) is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (front center sensor LH). If the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (front center sensor LH) has an open or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note

If DTCs are output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTCs Click here.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      No DTC is output. A
      Only DTC C1AE2 is output. B
      DTC C1AE2 and C1AEC are output. C

  2. REPLACE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (FRONT CENTER SENSOR LH)


    1. Replace the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (front center sensor LH) with a normally functioning one Click here.
