C1AE7 Rear Left Center Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor LH) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor LH). If the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor LH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note

If DTCs are output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTCs Click here.

  2. REPLACE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (REAR CENTER SENSOR LH)


    1. Replace the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor LH) with a normally functioning one Click here.
