    The following items can be customized.

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Display Default Contents Setting Relevant ECU
      Fr Sensor Onset Range Wide Sets the buzzer activation range for the front sensors. Narrow or Wide Clearance Warning ECU Assembly
      Rr Sensor Onset Range Wide Sets the buzzer activation range for the rear sensors. Narrow or Wide Clearance Warning ECU Assembly
      Keep Sense Buzzer Avail Makes the buzzer sound when the distance between the vehicle and obstacle does not change for more than 3 seconds. Not Avail or Avail Clearance Warning ECU Assembly
      Fr & Rr Buzzer Volume H Changes the buzzer volume setting. L, M1, M2, M3 or H Clearance Warning ECU Assembly
      Temporary Mute Reset Speed Adjust 20 km/h Sets the vehicle speed at which the temporary mute function resets. System Link, 15km/h, 20km/h, 30km/h Clearance Warning ECU Assembly
      Temporary Mute Function ON Sets the availability of the temporary mute function. OFF, ON Clearance Warning ECU Assembly

    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / LEXUS parking assist.

    3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Display Default Contents Setting
      Alert volume 3 Sets the buzzer activation range for the rear center sensors. 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5
      Display Indicator of Display Off not illuminated*5 or indicator of Display Off illuminated*6 The display mode setting (when the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system is normal). On or Off
      Distance Front Green*2 Sets the detection operation range for the front center sensors. Orange*1 or Green*2
      Distance Rear Green*2 Sets the detection operation range for the rear center sensors. Orange*3 or Green*4

      • *1: Detection range of 600 mm (23.6 in.)

      • *2: Detection range of 1000 mm (39.4 in.)

      • *3: Detection range of 800 mm (31.5 in.)

      • *4: Detection range of 1500 mm (59.1 in.)

      • *5: Sonar indication is available on the multi-display

      • *6: Sonar indication is not available on the multi-display
