PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the F103 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P7 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F103-7 (VOR+) - P7-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F103-6 (VOR-) - P7-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F103-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F103-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    OK
  2. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER


    1. Remove the telematics transceiver with the connectors still connected.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P7-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
      P7-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Receiving a call while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the received voice is output.
