DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the GPS antenna.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 20 seconds.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the telephone antenna assembly.

      Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone antenna assembly.

    2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the antenna divider.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. INSPECT ANTENNA DIVIDER

      Disconnect the z71 antenna divider connector from the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the z70 antenna divider connector from the telematics transceiver.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. CHECK TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the telematics transceiver with a new or known good one.
