  1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L81-4 (VMT1) - Body ground RSE playing → Source changed Higher than 3.5 V → Below 1 V
      L81-5 (VMT2) - Body ground RSE playing → Source changed Higher than 3.5 V → Below 1 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY RH AND LH)


    1. Disconnect the L81 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the c66 television display assembly RH connector.

    3. Disconnect the c68 television display assembly LH connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for RH
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L81-4 (VMT1) - c66-2 (VMTR) Always Below 1 Ω
      L81-4 (VMT1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for LH
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L81-5 (VMT2) - c68-2 (MUT1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L81-5 (VMT2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
