This is the sound signal circuit between the multi-display controller sub-assembly and headphone terminal.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY - HEADPHONE TERMINAL)


    1. Disconnect the L79 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P1 headphone terminal connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L79-7 (HP2R) - P1-1 (HP2R) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-9 (HP2L) - P1-2 (HP2L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-8 (SLD6) - P1-3 (SGN2) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-3 (HR1R) - P1-9 (HP1R) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-5 (HP1L) - P1-10 (HP1L) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-4 (SLD5) - P1-11 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L79-7 (HP2R) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L79-9 (HP2L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L79-8 (SLD6) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L79-3 (HR1R) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L79-5 (HP1L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L79-4 (SLD5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
