STEERING CONTROL ECU(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU


    1. Install the steering control ECU from the junction block with the claw and bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connectors and attach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Install the junction block with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:
      Nut A and Bolt
      7.6 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 67 in.*lbf }
      Nut B
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  6. PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION
