DESCRIPTION
The VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) monitors terminal PIG (motor power source voltage) in order to detect malfunctions in the power supply relay (located inside the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU)).
If the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) detects a malfunction, it turns the master warning light on, and stores these DTCs.

Note
When replacing the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU), perform actuator angle neutral point calibration and initialization after replacement Click here.
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
READ VALUE USING GTS (PIG POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE)
Turn the engine switch off.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Start the engine.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / VGRS / Data List.

INSPECT VGRS ECU (STEERING CONTROL ECU) (PIG, PGND TERMINAL)
Turn the engine switch off.
Check the connection of the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) connector and the condition of the terminals.

Disconnect the E127 VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tech Tips
With the connector connected to the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU), measure the voltage from the rear of the connector.
