DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly receives vehicle tilt information from the deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

C1245/62

One of the following conditions is met:


  1. An error signal is sent from the deceleration sensor for approx. 0.3 seconds.

  2. While the deceleration sensor signal is judged to be stuck, starting off and stopping the vehicle occurs 16 times.

  3. Comparison error between deceleration sensor 1 and deceleration sensor 2 output values occurs for 60 seconds or more.

 Deceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly) An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
