DESCRIPTION

If the electric parking brake is used continuously, the parking master cylinder solenoid overheat prevention stops the system. This DTC is stored to protect the system and is not a malfunction.

PROCEDURE

ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE OVERHEAT
1. With the overheat warning displayed, wait for approximately 1 minute.
2. Check if the overheat warning has disappeared.
  Tech Tips
  - Check the display after turning the engine switch off and on (IG).
  - If the display returns to normal and the electric parking brake can be operated, clear the DTC.
