After replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration and store the system information Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT (RED INDICATOR)


    1. Disconnect the A24 skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) connector.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Check that the brake system warning light (red indicator) comes on.

      OK
      Brake system warning light (red indicator) comes on.
      Result
      Result Proceed to
      NG A
      OK (for LHD) B
      OK (for RHD) C

    REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Click here

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and the GTS on.

    4. Select "CAN Bus Check" from the System Selection Menu screen, and follow the prompts on the screen to inspect the CAN Bus.

      OK
      "CAN Bus Check" indicates no malfunctions in CAN communication.

  3. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and the GTS on.

    4. Check for DTCs (for LHD: See page , for RHD: Click here.

  4. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (INDICAT. LAMP BRAKE)


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Active Test.

    6. When performing the Brake System Warning Light (Red Indicator) Active Test, check Brake System Warning Light (Red Indicator) in the Data List.
