PERFORMANCE DAMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACKET LH


    1. Install the rear suspension member bracket LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      22 N*m  { 224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACKET RH


    1. Install the rear suspension member bracket RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      22 N*m  { 224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the 2 connectors.

  3. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER DAMPER ASSEMBLY

      Install the rear suspension member damper assembly with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not compress or extend the rear suspension member damper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure to install the suspension tower damper with the label facing upright.

  4. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL

  5. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

  6. INSTALL SPARE TIRE
