DESCRIPTION

According to the signal from the easy access mode switch (combination switch assembly), the suspension control ECU turns easy access mode control on/off.

  • Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.

  • If the suspension control ECU or height control sensor is replaced, the vehicle height offset calibration must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (ACCESS MODE SWITCH)


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / AHC / Data List.

    5. According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

  2. TEST MODE INSPECTION


    1. Refer to the Test Mode Procedure and perform the signal check. Check that test mode DTC C1795 is cleared Click here.

  3. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (EASY ACCESS MODE SWITCH)


    1. Remove the easy access mode switch (combination switch assembly) Click here.

    2. Inspect the easy access mode switch (combination switch assembly) Click here.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU - SWITCH)


    1. Disconnect the K30 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the E125 combination switch assem connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for LHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K30-10 (LMSW) - E125-6 (ECU1) Always Below 1 Ω
      K30-10 (LMSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E125-16 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      for RHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K30-10 (LMSW) - E125-3 (ECU1) Always Below 1 Ω
      K30-10 (LMSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
