DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0100 While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the ECM and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0101 While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the TCM and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0123 While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h (1 mph) or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0129 While the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0142 While the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0155 While the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the combination meter assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 50 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B

  2. DTC OUTPUT (ROAD SIGN ASSIST SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Road Sign Assist / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear DTCs Click here.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

    4. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "CAN Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".
