RADIATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.


    1. Disconnect the cables from the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL FRONT RH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  13. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

    Click here

  14. REMOVE VANE PUMP OIL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL RESERVOIR BRACKET

    Click here

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  17. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  18. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

  19. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT (w/ Viscous Heater)

    Click here

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 IDLER PULLEY (w/ Viscous Heater)

    Click here

  21. REMOVE NO. 3 IDLER PULLEY (w/ Viscous Heater)

    Click here

  22. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  23. REMOVE OIL COOLER TUBE

      *1 Outlet No. 1 Oil Cooler Hose
      *2 Inlet No. 1 Oil Cooler Hose

      Detach the claw to open the flexible hose clamp.

    2. Slide the 2 clips and remove the outlet No. 1 oil cooler hose.

    3. Slide the 2 clips and remove the inlet No. 1 oil cooler hose.

      Slide the 2 clips and remove the inlet No. 2 oil cooler hose.

    5. Slide the 2 clips and remove the inlet No. 3 oil cooler hose.

      Slide the 2 clips and remove the inlet No. 4 oil cooler hose.

      Remove the 2 bolts and transmission oil cooler tube.

  24. REMOVE FAN SHROUD WITH FAN

  25. REMOVE FAN PULLEY

  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  27. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT

    Click here

  28. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips, and remove the radiator side deflector LH.

  29. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. B001AJE

      Remove the 4 bolts and radiator assembly.
