INTERCOOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts and No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly from the intercooler assembly.

  4. REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

      Loosen the No. 1 air hose clamp.

    2. B0018SU

      Loosen the No. 2 air hose clamp.

    3. B0019QG

      Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector, intake air temperature sensor connector and vacuum hose.

    4. B0019CX

      Remove the 6 nuts, 2 bolts and intercooler assembly from the air tube sub-assembly LH, air tube sub-assembly RH, No. 2 intercooler support bracket and intercooler support bracket.

    5. Remove the 2 gaskets from the air tube sub-assembly LH and air tube sub-assembly RH.

  5. REMOVE ENGINE COVER BRACKET

      Remove the 2 bolts and engine cover bracket from the intercooler assembly.
