POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

   
   

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the power steering oil pressure switch.

   2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the power steering oil pressure switch.

      Torque:

      21 N*m  { 210 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      
      

      • Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the power steering oil pressure switch (connecting surface with pressure feed tube).

      • Be careful not to damage the O-ring when installing the power steering oil pressure switch.

   3. Connect the connector to the power steering oil pressure switch.

4. INSTALL VANE PUMP OIL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL HEATER WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)

7. INSTALL NO. 3 AIR TUBE

   Click here

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR HOSE

   Click here

9. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

   Click here

10. TEMPORARILY INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

11. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

12. CONNECT WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)

    
    

    1. Connect the 2 water hoses to the heater water pipe sub-assembly, and slide the clamp to secure the 2 hoses.

13. INSTALL INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

15. INSTALL NO. 3 IDLER PULLEY (w/ Viscous Heater)

16. INSTALL NO. 1 IDLER PULLEY (w/ Viscous Heater)

17. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT (w/ Viscous Heater)

18. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

19. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
