FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

   Click here

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH (for Driver Side)

   Click here

7. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL RH (for Front Passenger Side)

8. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 1 STIFFENER CUSHION

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

12. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

       Put protective tape around the front door belt moulding assembly LH.

    2. 

       Detach the 9 claws and remove the front door belt moulding assembly LH.
