REAR BUMPER(w/ Towing Hitch) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE


    1. w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 6 connectors.

        A01WRFA

      2. Detach the 12 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

    2. w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

        A01WRLI

      2. Detach the 8 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01WTL9

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  5. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  6. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01WSOF

      Remove the 3 screws and the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER LH


    1. A01WPYJ

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. A01WUF8

      Detach the 2 claws and the rear bumper upper cover LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER


    1. A01WU5P

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A01WRRK

      Detach the 6 claws and, 2 guides and remove the rear bumper lower cover.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH


    1. A01WQQ0

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER STEP CUSHION


    1. A01WQ1V

      Remove the rear bumper step cushion.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all rear bumper step cushions.
