  • When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER NO. 2 RETAINER


    1. Attach the 2 claws to the front bumper lower No. 2 retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all front bumper lower No. 2 retainers.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER


    1. Attach the guide to install the front bumper upper center retainer.

    2. Install the 4 bolts.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL LH

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the front bumper side support LH

    2. Install the bolt.

    3. Install the screw.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the front bumper No. 2 extension sub-assembly LH with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      67 N*m  { 683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      71 N*m  { 724 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. Install the front bumper energy absorber.

  13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Attach the 14 claws to install the front bumper cover.

    3. Connect the No. 4 engine room wire connector.

    4. w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:

      Connect the connector.

    5. Connect the front television camera assembly connector.

    6. Install the 7 screws and 4 bolts.

    7. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the 6 screws.

  14. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


    1. Install the upper radiator support seal with the 11 clips.

  15. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Push in the clip to install the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.

    2. Install the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

  16. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING

  19. ADD WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH


    1. Add washer fluid to the washer jar.

  20. ADJUST FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    When only the front bumper is removed and reinstalled, it is not necessary to adjust the front television camera assembly.(Such as when removing or installing the front bumper in order to remove or install the headlight assembly.)
