FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD


    1. Clean the front bumper pad installation surface with a non-residue solvent.

    2. Apply primer to the front bumper pad installation area on the front bumper cover.

      Note

      Apply primer evenly so that there are no uncoated areas.

    3. Install a new 4 front bumper pads.

      *a Mark-off Line - -

      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new 4 front bumper pads.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Align the front bumper pad with the mark-off line of the front bumper cover and install it as shown in the illustration.

        Note


        • Press the double-sided tape on the front bumper pad firmly to attach.

        • After the primer dries (3 minutes or more), install the front bumper pad.

        • After applying primer, reapply primer after 24 hours elapse.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER NO. 1 RETAINER


    1. Install the front bumper lower No. 1 retainer with the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all front bumper lower No. 1 retainers.

  3. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER


    1. Attach the 7 claws to install the front bumper lower cover.

    2. Install the 12 clips. *a Mark-off Line - - *a *a *a *a B421590E01

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

  7. INSTALL FOG LIGHT BRACKET LH

  8. INSTALL FOG LIGHT BRACKET RH

  9. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  11. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. Attach the 8 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. Connect the 5 connectors.
