STOP LIGHT SWITCH INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER


    1. A01WW68

      Attach the 2 claws to install a new stop light switch mounting adjuster.

  2. INSTALL STOP LIGHT SWITCH


    1. A01WT72

      Insert the stop light switch to the stop light switch mounting adjuster until it slightly touches the brake pedal.

      Note

      Do not depress the brake pedal.

    2. A01WS5HE01

      Rotate the stop light switch clockwise by approximately one fourth of a rotation.

      Note

      Do not depress the brake pedal.

    3. Check the protrusion amount of the shaft.

      1.5 to 2.5 mm (0.0590 to 0.0984 in.)

    4. Connect the connector.
