DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly receives hazard warning signal switch information signals and illuminates the hazard warning lights.

1. READ VALUE USING GTS (HAZARD FLASHER SWITCH)

2. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)

   
   

   1. Remove the multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) Click here.

   2. Inspect the multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) Click here.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH) - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the F77 multi-media module receiver (hazard warning signal switch) connector.

   2. Disconnect the E121 combination meter assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F77-10 (LJB) - E121-5 (HAZM) Always Below 1 Ω F77-9 (HAZ) - E121-11 (HZSW) Always Below 1 Ω F77-10 (LJB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F77-9 (HAZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
