PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.


    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B242E is not output.

    OK

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH - POWER SOURCE AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the A64 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A64-4 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      A64-4 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A64-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
