FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER(for Standard Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    *1 Hog Ring Pliers

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the 3 straps to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the cover.

  2. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Set the seat cushion cover with pad in place.

    2. Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:

      Connect the connector.

    4. Install the 4 clips.

    5. Connect the connector and install the connector lock to the seat heater control sub-assembly LH connector.

    6. Connect the 2 connectors.

    7. Install the clip.

    8. Attach the hook to connect the rubber band.

    9. Connect the rubber band with the clip.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL FRONT POWER ADJUSTER SHIELD LH


    1. Install 2 new clips to the front power adjuster shield LH.

    2. for Driver Side:

      Connect the 3 connectors.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    4. Attach the 2 clips to install the front power adjuster shield LH.

    5. Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  10. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

  11. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM

  12. INSPECT CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  13. INSPECT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

  14. ENABLE AUTOAWAY/RETURN FUNCTION (w/ Memory)


    1. Restore the autoaway/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Click here.
