REAR SEATBACK HEATER REMOVAL

Tech Tips

The rear seatback heater cannot be removed as it is connected to the bench type rear seatback cover as a unit.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  7. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. A000S8K

      Disconnect the 2 rear seatback heater connectors.

    2. Pass the rear seat wire RH under the rubber bands of the bench type rear seatback cover.

    3. Detach the clamp of the rear seat wire RH.

    4. Remove the hog rings.

    5. Pass the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the bench type rear seatback pad.

    6. Pass the bench type rear seatback pad through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover.

      Pass the rear seatback heater wire harnesses through the holes in the bench type rear seatback cover.

    8. Remove the rear seat airbag assembly LH Click here.

    9. Remove the rear seat airbag assembly RH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    10. A000SBJ

      Pass the brackets of the bench type rear seatback cover through the holes in the bench type rear seatback pad.

    11. Remove the hog rings and bench type rear seatback cover from the bench type rear seatback pad.
