LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Standard Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Slide the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH downward to attach the 2 hooks and install it.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

    3. Attach the 2 clips and install the 2 springs.

    4. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  3. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the seatback cover with pad.

      *1 Seatback Cover Bracket

      Attach the 2 seatback cover brackets with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      CAUTION:

      After the seatback cover bracket is attached, make sure the seatback cover bracket is not twisted.

    3. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    5. Attach the hooks.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  6. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  7. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

  8. INSPECT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

  9. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM (w/ Seat Heater System)

  10. INSPECT CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  11. ENABLE AUTOAWAY/RETURN FUNCTION (w/ Memory)


    1. Restore the autoaway/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Click here.
