PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (for Slide)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (for Reclining)

  7. REMOVE FRONT POWER ADJUSTER SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 clips and remove the front power adjuster shield LH.

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. A000R4U

      Remove the 4 screws and switch bezel from the front power adjuster shield LH.

    5. A000P4Y

      Remove the 2 clips from the front power adjuster shield LH.

  8. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH

  10. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip and disconnect the rubber band.

    2. Detach the hook and disconnect the rubber band.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

      Open the lower part of the front seatback board sub-assembly LH and remove the 2 screws.

    5. Push and slide the front seatback board subassembly LH to detach the claw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to detach the claw on the other side.

    6. Slide the front seatback board sub-assembly LH downward to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Slide the front seatback board downward to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  16. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the connector lock from the seat heater control sub-assembly LH connector and disconnect the connector.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

      for Front Passenger Side:

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. except Ottoman:

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and open the front part of the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Remove the hog rings.

    7. Using a clip remover, detach the 4 clips and disconnect the front part of the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    8. Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (except Ottoman)

      Remove the hog rings and disconnect the 3 straps from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Remove the hog rings and disconnect the 3 straps from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    5. Remove the 2 nuts and detach the seatback cover bracket.

    6. Remove the seatback cover with pad.

  22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and the left and right ends of the front seatback adjuster assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the left and right ends of the front seatback adjuster assembly do not become detached from the motor.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Slide the front seatback adjuster to detach the guide as shown in the illustration and remove it.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SUPPORT LH

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and both paddles of the front seatback support LH.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the 5 claws and remove the push nut from the reclining connecting pipe.

    3. A000PSR

      Remove the reclining connecting pipe.

    4. Remove the bolt and power seat motor assembly.

    1. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps.

    2. Detach the 4 hooks A.

    3. Detach the 4 hooks B and remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

      Detach the 7 wire harness clamps.

    2. A000NNB

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the ground wire.

    4. Detach the 8 wire harness clamps and remove the front seat wire.

  41. REMOVE SEATBACK SPRING DAMPER LH

    1. Remove the 2 nuts and seatback spring damper LH.

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seatback frame sub-assembly LH from the front seat adjuster LH.
