Use the same procedure for the driver side of RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedures listed below are for the driver side of an LHD vehicle.

Note
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 screws and disconnect the 2 glove compartment door stopper sub-assemblies from the glove compartment door assembly.
REMOVE NO. 2 GLOVE COMPARTMENT PLATE
Detach the 3 claws to remove the No. 2 glove compartment plate from the glove compartment door assembly.
REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PANEL
Detach the 8 claws and glove compartment panel from the glove compartment door assembly.
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
When storing the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.
Detach the harness clamp to disconnect the airbag harness from the glove compartment door assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts.
Slightly bend the wall of the glove compartment door, detach the 8 hooks and remove the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag from the glove compartment door assembly.
