  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V
    2. While using the parts location and circuit diagrams as a reference, inspect areas which can be visually inspected for blown fuses, problems with wire harnesses (open and short circuits), improperly connected connectors, etc.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Using the GTS, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  4. CHECK FOR DTC*


    1. Check DTCs and freeze frame data.

      2. Record the DTCs and freeze frame data displayed on the screen.

      1. Using the GTS, clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      1. Try to reproduce the problem symptoms based on the recorded DTCs, and then check if the DTCs are output again.
