PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the room light.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly)

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B)

        Battery positive (-) → Terminal 3 (CTY)

        		 Always Rear dome light illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B)

        Battery positive (-) → Terminal 4 (E)

        		 Reading light switch LH on Reading light LH illuminates
        Reading light switch RH on Reading light RH illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

    2. Inspect the switch illumination.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (ILLB)

        Battery positive (-) → Terminal 4 (E)

        		 Switch illumination illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
