ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated Entry System)
Tech Tips
When inspecting the following functions, make sure that the map light door switch is on.
The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

| Actuation Area-linked | When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the items listed to the right turn on. |

| Door Lock/Unlock-linked | When any door is unlocked, the items listed to the right turn on. |

| When all doors are locked, the items listed to the right turn off. |
|
|
| Door Open/Close-linked | When any door is opened, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| When all doors are closed, the items listed to the right turn off. | ||
| Power Switch-linked | When the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG) the items listed to the right turn on. |

BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM
When the interior lights have been illuminated for approximately 20 minutes with any of the doors ajar and the power switch off, this function turns off all of the interior lights in order to prevent the battery from being depleted.
Tech Tips
When the light control operation conditions are met, battery saving control is canceled.
SHIFT LIGHT SYSTEM
In a dark environment with the power switch turned on (IG), check that the shift light installed in the inner rear view mirror assembly illuminates.
