  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A000RLR

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    3. A000QEN

      Move the hood lock in the direction of the arrows in the illustration to temporarily install it.

    4. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER


    1. Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 2 clips.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
