ULTRASONIC SENSOR(for Front Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. except Sport Package:

      Click here

    2. for Sport Package:

      Click here

  2. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE


    1. except Sport Package:


      1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      2. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. for Sport Package:


      1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      2. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR


    1. except Sport Package:

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.


      1. A000RVI

        Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

    2. for Sport Package:

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.


      1. A000N5U

        Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR


    1. A000SET

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor clip.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER


    1. A000RXR

      Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper cover.

    2. Remove the old double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  7. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP


    1. A000PEB

      Remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the front bumper cover.

    2. Remove the old double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both ultrasonic sensor clip.
