DESCRIPTION

The rear control switch and accessory meter assembly (for 12.3 Inch) or multi-display (for 8 Inch) are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line. When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the rear control switch and the accessory meter assembly (for 12.3 Inch) or multi-display (for 8 Inch), this DTC will be stored.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CONTROL SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the rear control switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-5 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Z1-1 (+B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      Z1-6 (ACC) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CONTROL SWITCH - ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the Z1 rear control switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the N62 accessory meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-14 (TX+) - N62-6 (TX1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-15 (TX-) - N62-18 (TX1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-14 (TX+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Z1-15 (TX-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  6. REPLACE REAR CONTROL SWITCH


    1. Replace the rear control switch with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Disconnect the N155 multi-display connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-14 (TX+) - N155-6 (TX1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-15 (TX-) - N155-18 (TX1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-14 (TX+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Z1-15 (TX-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
