RADIO RECEIVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note


    • After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When replacing the multi-media module receiver assembly or telematics transceiver, perform the vehicle contract setting (See page , Click here .

    • The safety connect device uses the telematics transceiver to provide access to the network service.

    • The telematics transceiver has a DCM ID (described on the label attached to the telematics transceiver).

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

  6. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET


    1. A000O2I

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A000QO4

      Detach the 2 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Pull out the multi-media module receiver assembly with bracket.

    4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the multi-media module receiver assembly with bracket.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ION GENERATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET


    1. A000R32E01

      Remove the screw labeled A and ion generator bracket.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET


    1. A000NDAE02

      Remove the screw labeled A and ion generator bracket.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
