DESCRIPTION

The rear control switch and multi-media module receiver assembly are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line. When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the rear control switch and the multi-media module receiver assembly, this DTC will be stored.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CONTROL SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the rear control switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-5 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-1 (+B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      Z1-6 (ACC) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Z1-7 (IG+) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CONTROL SWITCH - ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY OR MULTI-DISPLAY)


    • *1: for 12.3 Inch

    • *2: for 8 Inch


    1. Disconnect the Z1 rear control switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the N62*1 accessory meter assembly connector.

    3. Disconnect the N155*2 multi-display connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for 12.3 Inch
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-14 (TX+) - N62-6 (TX1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-15 (TX-) - N62-18 (TX1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-14 (TX+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Z1-15 (TX-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for 8 Inch
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Z1-14 (TX+) - N155-6 (TX1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-15 (TX-) - N155-18 (TX1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Z1-14 (TX+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. REPLACE REAR CONTROL SWITCH
