POWER STEERING SYSTEM(for 2AR-FSE), Diagnostic DTC:C1511/11, C1512/11, C1513/11

DTC Code DTC Name
C1511/11 Torque Sensor 1 Malfunction
C1512/11 Torque Sensor 2 Malfunction
C1513/11 Torque Sensor Deviation Excessive

DESCRIPTION

The torque sensor converts the torque input to the steering wheel into an electrical signal and sends it to the power steering ECU assembly. Based on this signal, the power steering ECU assembly detects steering effort.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1511/11 A torque sensor signal 1 error or communication stop.
  • Harness or connector

  • Torque sensor (built into power steering link assembly)

  • Power steering ECU assembly

C1512/11 A torque sensor signal 2 error or communication stop.
  • Harness or connector

  • Torque sensor (built into power steering link assembly)

  • Power steering ECU assembly

C1513/11 Excessive torque malfunction
  • Harness or connector

  • Torque sensor (built into power steering link assembly)

  • Power steering ECU assembly
