DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly uses CAN communication with the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), skid control ECU assembly and power management control ECU.

U0073/51 With the power switch on (IG), the bus is off (communication with other ECUs is not possible) for 2 seconds. CAN communication system
U0124/55 With the power switch on (IG), the parking brake ECU assembly cannot receive signals from the acceleration sensor for approximately 1 second.

U0129/52 With the power switch on (IG), the parking brake ECU assembly cannot receive signals from the skid control ECU for approximately 1 second or 10 seconds (malfunction duration differs depending on the signal).

U0293/54 With the power switch on (IG) and the vehicle being driven at 15 km/h (9 mph) or more, the parking brake ECU assembly cannot receive signals from the power management control ECU for approximately 1 second or 10 seconds (malfunction duration differs depending on the signal).
