DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU assembly communicates with the power management control ECU and controls braking force according to the motor's regenerative force.

The skid control ECU assembly sends enhanced VSC signals to the power management control ECU and inputs operating signals from the power management control ECU.

The skid control ECU assembly uses CAN communication for communication with the power management control ECU. If a communication malfunction is memorized, the skid control ECU assembly prohibits enhanced VSC operation and a part of electronically controlled brake system control by fail-safe function.

Either of the following is detected:


  1. When IG2 terminal voltage is 10.5 V or more, the regeneration malfunction signal continues for 0.48 seconds or more.

  2. The regeneration malfunction signal is input for at least 0.036 seconds when IG2 terminal voltage is 10.5 V or more for at least 2 seconds and communication with power management control ECU is valid.

C1310 -

Detection condition 1:


  • The hybrid control malfunction signal is received for at least 0.072 seconds from power management control ECU.

Detection condition 2:


  • The traction control prohibition signal is received for at least 0.072 seconds when IG2 terminal voltage is 10.5 V or more for at least 1.5 seconds and communication with power management control ECU is valid.

Detection condition 1:


  • Hybrid control system (Brake hold control malfunction)

Detection condition 2:


  • Hybrid control system (VSC control malfunction)

Tech Tips

This DTC will be output from the skid control ECU assembly when the power management control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the skid control ECU assembly.
