REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper plate RH.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 6 clips and 10 retainers.

    2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the rear bumper center extension sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the rear bumper protector LH.

  9. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A000PE4

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both rear bumper protectors.

      Remove the rear bumper protector.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 MOULDING TAPE

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 2 moulding tapes.

      Remove the No. 2 moulding tape.
