REAR COIL SPRING REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DISCONNECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o DYNAMIC REAR STEERING)

  5. DISCONNECT REAR STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY (w/ DYNAMIC REAR STEERING)

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING


    1. Loosen the bolt and nut of the rear No. 2 suspension arm on the rear suspension member side.

    2. B002BWQ

      Remove the bolt and nut located on the rear axle assembly of the rear No. 2 suspension arm.

      Note

      Hold the nut and remove the bolt.

    3. Lower the jack gradually to remove the rear coil spring with rear upper coil spring insulator.

    4. Remove the rear lower coil spring insulator from the rear No. 2 suspension arm.

  10. REMOVE REAR UPPER SPRING SEAT

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear upper spring seat from the vehicle.
