FRONT STABILIZER BAR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 UPPER SUSPENSION MEMBER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

  5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Remove the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

      Remove the bolt and rear engine under cover LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Remove the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH


    1. A000QGS

      Remove the 2 bolts and the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front suspension crossmember.

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Remove the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

      Remove the 4 bolts and the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the frame.

  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Remove the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.

  12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH


    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes from the front stabilizer bar.

  13. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR


    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
