Note


  • When using a vise, place aluminum plates between the part and vise.

  • When using a vise, do not overtighten it.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A000S7W

      Check that there is no excessive play in the outboard joint.

    2. Check that the inboard joint slides smoothly in the thrust direction.

    3. Check that there is no excessive play in the radial directions of the inboard joint.

    4. Check the boots for damage.

    5. A000O2UE13

      Check that the 2 joint boots are not stretched or contracted when the drive shaft is at the standard length.
