TRANSMISSION WIRE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. DRAIN TRANSMISSION FLUID


    1. A000OPI

      Remove the drain plug and gasket, and drain the ATF.

    2. Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 bolts, oil pan and gasket from the transmission.

    2. Remove the 4 transmission oil cleaner magnets from the oil pan sub-assembly.


      1. Collect any steel chips with the removed magnets. Carefully look at the foreign objects and particles in the pan and on the magnets to guess the type of wear which might be found in the transmission.

  5. REMOVE OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and oil strainer from the valve body.

      Remove the O-ring from the oil strainer.

  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION WIRE

      *2 Wire Harness Clamp

      Remove the bolt, lock plate and ATF temperature sensor.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp.

    3. Disconnect the 2 oil pressure switch connectors.

      Note

      When disconnecting the oil pressure switch connectors, do not bend the terminals.

    4. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the solenoid valves.

      Disconnect the wire connector.

      Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, remove the bolt.

    7. Pull out the transmission wire.
