Note
If Line Pressure is ON, the fluid amount has not been adjusted accurately.
Turn the power switch on (READY) or troubleshoot the system in accordance with the output DTC. Then adjust the fluid amount only after making sure that Line Pressure is OFF.
Allow the engine to idle until the fluid temperature reaches 30°C (86°F). Proceed to the next step to check fluid temperature.
Tech Tips
The fluid temperature should be less than 40°C (104°F) before starting the engine.
CHECK FLUID TEMPERATURE
Note
The fluid temperature can be confirmed by checking the D shift indicator in the meter or using the GTS. It is necessary to change to fluid temperature detection mode.
Tech Tips
The fluid temperature should be less than 30°C (86°F) before beginning the fluid temperature check.
Fluid temperature detection mode will be canceled if the power switch is turned off.
When using the GTS:
Turn the power switch off.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (READY).
Note
Check that electrical systems such as the air conditioning system, audio system and lighting system are off.
